Rick Ashmore founded the Dunes Volleyball Club in 1989.

Coach Ashmore has  coached at Munster, Warsaw, Michigan City Rogers, Lake Central, Kankakee Valley Crown Point, and Saint Joseph High School in Michigan.
He has won over 975 matches High School matches. He has won nine conference titles.

Coach Ashmore has coached over four hundred girls who have gone on to play in college.
Coach Ashmore’s 18’s team won the USA Nationals in 2007.
Coach Ashmore has two children – Jamie, played volleyball for Grand Valley State University won a NCAA National Championship there and now  coaches at Grand Valley State University  and son Levi who works  in Austin, TX

Coach Ashmore is a USA Cap 2 certified coach
